Event
A visit has been arranged for Saturday 17th
September to the Ferryside Lifeboat Station. We need to be there at 2.00 prompt
so that we can start on time. I think that it is only fair not to keep these
volunteers waiting as they are giving part of their weekend to show us
around.
They tell me that the best place to park is the car
park in Ferryside village square, which is just across the road from the railway
station and level crossing. It only takes 2-3 minutes to walk to the lifeboat
station by crossing the level crossing towards the beach and then turning right,
past the Yacht Club and the lifeboat station is next door to the yacht
club.
Please make every effort to attend what should be
an interesting visit and bring family or friends if you wish.
